The element of choice continues into the evening, when you've got illusionists, cabaret acts, Cypriot folk dancing and live music all lining up to entertain you. Fancy something a little more low key? Then get yourself along to the Plori cocktail bar, where you can peruse the drinks menu as the velvet-voiced pianist tinkles the ivories.

And finally, if all that food and drink starts to weigh heavily on your conscience there are plenty of opportunities to burn off those holiday calories. Choose from tennis, squash, a fully-equipped gym and a 5-a-side football pitch. Back at the pool there's aqua aerobics and water polo.

Or you can try something a bit different and sign up for a dance class. You might simply prefer to take a long leisurely walk. The hotel is set in 14 acres of fabulous landscaped gardens, a stone's throw from the gleaming white sands and crystal waters of beautiful Nissi Beach.

We went to this hotel in May 2007 although the hotel is excellent the food is of very high quality the staff are 100% they are so helpful what we were not informed of by Thomson is the extensive building work going on some starting at 6.a.m. we... more on this review
