This hotel has got a lot to win you over. And we do mean a lot. First things first, there's the setting. It's sprung up on the sleepy Babin Kuk peninsula, which means there's plenty to write home about on the view front. The family-friendly complex gazes out on crystal waters that flash turquoise, jade and cobalt beneath the hot Croatian sunshine. So you can float in the pool or chill out on the terrace and look out on a sparkling sea and achingly blue sky. Naturally, a beach won't be far behind and just a few minutes' walk brings you to a pretty pebbly number backed by vivid green trees. And then there's the region's star attraction to think about, too – Dubrovnik's Old Town, whose time-worn streets you can be strolling along in less than 15 minutes' driving time. Back to the hotel though, and you've got plenty persuading you to stay put. If you're an active type, your days can be filled with volleyball, aqua aerobics, badminton and 5-a-side. Or there's yoga, pilates and tai-chi if you prefer a more relaxed approach to exercise. But maybe you'll decide to laze away the days, poolside, in which case you've got the full tool kit for relaxing here. A large octagonal pool, with a separate section for the kids, is at the heart of the hotel. The sun terraces that surround it are spacious and they're dotted with sunbeds and parasols. Later, when your skin has taken on a soft holiday glow, head inside for dinner. In the restaurant, watch as chefs flambe your dinner into life. It's a buffet affair with a couple of theme nights a week. There's a separate children's corner, too, where pint-sized guests can tuck into food they won't turn their noses up at. They'll love the afternoon ice-cream party, too. When you're brim-full of tasty treats, make a beeline for the aperitif bar. Order your favourite tipple and sit out on the terrace, drinking in sunset views of the sea. It's just the ticket for a relaxing getaway.
